 The egg yolk is one of the most important parts of the egg - the correct yolk colour is crucial for high consumer appeal. DSM’s CAROPHYLL® check concept and the awarded iCheck® Egg will help the egg processing industry to measure egg yolk colour in an objective and quantitative way. Egg producers and processors can now assess in only a few minutes the colour and quality of the egg yolk, and can thus contribute to better match consumer preferences.
